Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant to join a dynamic and growing organization. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment where you will contribute to both core accounting functions and broader financial initiatives.

The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver who is comfortable taking on a variety of responsibilities and collaborating across departments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage month-end and year-end close processes
  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
  • Perform general ledger reconciliations and maintain account accuracy
  • Handle entity consolidations and intercompany transactions
  • Support revenue recognition and reporting activities
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and asset management
  • Participate in audit preparation and ensure compliance with internal controls
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience
  • Experience with ERP systems (Yardi or similar systems preferred)
  • Background in real estate, property accounting, or multi-entity environments preferred
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
